This Spring, we are leaving on a ‘camp-to-camp’ bike tour across central Canada—a total of approx. 3300Km—to help send kids to YMCA Summer Camp!

We owe much of our childhood to Camp Wanakita and without the support of the YMCA, we wouldn't have become the people we are today. This is our way to say thanks.

On May 14th, we will be leaving from YMCA Camp Wanakita in Haliburton, Ontario and arriving at YMCA Camp Chief Hector in the Kananaskis country of Western Alberta on June 22nd—39 days later. We have chosen to do this trip by bike as a carbon-free way of getting to our summer work at Camp Chief Hector, to promote sustainable, alternative forms of travel.

Along the way we hope to continue our fundraising initiative, and will keep this site active with pictures and a journal, describing the tour.

As of now we are focusing on fundraising, training, and general trip planning.
